How to Add an Email Address to Your Contacts

1. Using Your Email Provider’s Contacts Feature
Gmail (Desktop & Mobile App)
- Open Gmail.
- Hover over or tap the sender’s name in an email.
- Click "Add to Contacts" or "More Info" and select "Add to Contacts."
- Optionally, edit details in Google Contacts.
Outlook (Desktop & Mobile App)
- Open an email from the sender.
- Click the sender’s name and choose "Add to Contacts."
- Fill in details and save.
Apple Mail (Mac & iPhone/iPad)
- Open the Mail app and find the email.
- Tap the sender’s name.
- Select "Add to Contacts."
2. Manually Adding to Contacts App
On iPhone/iPad
- Open the "Contacts" app.
- Tap "+" to add a new contact.
- Enter the email under the "Email" field and save.
On Android
- Open the "Contacts" app.
- Tap "+" to create a contact.
- Enter the email address and save.
On Windows (People App)
- Open the "People" app.
- Click "New Contact" and add the email address.
- Save the contact.
On Mac (Contacts App)
- Open the "Contacts" app.
- Click "+" and choose "New Contact."
- Add the email and save.
3. Saving from a Sent or Received Email
- Open the email.
- Right-click or tap the sender’s name.
- Choose "Add to Contacts" or "Save Address."
4. Syncing from Another Account
If you already have contacts in another service, you can sync them:
- Gmail: Settings > "Accounts and Import" > "Import Contacts."
- Outlook: Settings > "Sync Contacts."
- iPhone/Android: Settings > "Accounts" > Add Google/Outlook account and enable contact sync.
