With Giftetic you can create and share wishlists (or wish lists), making gifting easy, financially-efficient, and stress-free. Simply register, your wishlist will be automatically created on the spot, add your gift wishes, and share them with family and friends or simply let your people check your wishlist from time to time.
Is Giftetic free to use?
Yes! Giftetic is free to use and includes all the essential gifting features you need to create and share wishlists. No credit card required. However, this may change in the future. Anyone who registers while it's free will keep their account free — so register now to secure yours at no cost!
Can I use Giftetic without inviting anyone?
Definitely! Inviting others allows you to see their uploaded gift wishes, but you can absolutely use Giftetic on your own without involving anyone.
Simply register, add your people manually (optional), and start submitting gift ideas for them.
You can also track their important dates, and manage your own gift wishes or purchase ideas for personal reference and research.
Does Giftetic have a mobile app for iOS and Android?
Giftetic is a web app that is accessed through the internet. It can be used on a desktop or mobile on any common device and platform, such as iOS (iPhone or iPad), Android (smartphone or tablet), laptop, or PC. Unlike traditional apps, Giftetic doesn’t take up space on your device. You can add the app icon to your smartphone or tablet, just like any other app from the App Store or Play Store. Plus, it’s super easy and effortless to use Giftetic, even if you switch between devices or operating systems. Decided to switch from Android to an iPhone? No problem! You don’t need to worry if the app is available on the App Store.
Can I use Giftetic without sharing my list publicly?
Absolutely! By default, your submissions are not public. You can have a public wishlist whenever you need. You can also manage your wishlist privacy settings by choosing who can see each gift wish.
Do I need to create an account to use Giftetic?
Yes, an account is needed to create and manage your wishlists, settings, and people. This ensures your data is safely saved and accessible to you anytime, even if you forget your password. Without an account it would be impossible to provide you such a comprehensive gifting solution that allows you to access your account on your smartphone, tablet and laptop — whether you use iOS, macOS, Android or Windows.
How does Giftetic keep my data secure?
Giftetic protects your data using HTTPS (HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure), the same security standard used by banks. In addition to encryption, we implement other security measures to safeguard your information. Our team uses Giftetic for their own wishlists and families, ensuring that your data receives the same level of protection we trust for ourselves.
How does Giftetic protect my privacy?
Your privacy is a top priority at Giftetic. Your sensitive information, such as your gift wishes and the people you interact with, is visible only to you. We do not share your personal data with third parties without your consent.
Can I mark an item as purchased without the wishlist owner seeing it?
Yes! When you reserve ("I want to buy") or mark an item as purchased, the wishlist owner won't see any change on his/her/their side, ensuring the gift remains a surprise. The item will be hidden from other users, or they will be notified that it’s unavailable to avoid duplicate gifts.
Can I use Giftetic for events like birthdays, Christmas, weddings, or baby showers?
Yes! Giftetic is a gift registry perfect for any occasion, including birthdays, weddings, baby showers, holidays, and more. You can create separate wishlists for different events and share them with family, friends, or even colleagues!
Can Giftetic be used in multiple languages and currencies?
Yes! Giftetic supports multiple languages and all common currencies, making it easy for users around the world to create and share wishlists. Current supported languages are: English, Russian, and Vietnamese (more languages will be added in future updates). This is perfect especially when family members speak different languages or live in countries with different currencies.
